SEPTEMBER

26th -  Our new season starts at 7.15 pm in the council chambers.

Opening Night: Inca's & Boobies Part 2 - Ecuador by our own members John Ketton CPAGB and Paul Ketton CPAGB.

OCTOBER

3rd - Digital Night No 1

10th - "Howards Birds" - A YPU talk by Howard Toll who will bring his Birds of Prey. Bring your camera as you will be allowed to phot0graph his birds during the evening.

17th - Practical Portrait Night 1, bring you camera and tripod.

24th - "Vancouver Island"  A L&CPU lecture by George Steel LRPS, CPAGB.

             Submission night for W E Gundill Competition 

31st - Internal competition No 1 Tranquility.           

 NOVEMBER

7th - Digital Restoration of old Photographs - by Roger Walton LRPS.

14th - Judging of the W E Gundill competition by Gerry Padgett LRPS -DPAGB - APAGB.    SUBMISSION NIGHT FOR 2012 ANNUAL EXHIBITION

21st - Natural History A YPU show by David Robinson ARPS, DPAGB.

28th - YPU Exhibition print Portfolio 2011 in digital projected format.

DECEMBER

5th Presidents Night

12th - Digital Night No2

19th - Internal Competition No2 "Wildlife"                                                         Submission Night for Batley Competition

Thursday 5th Preview Night for Our Annual Exhibiton in the Central Library

Saturday 7th Opening of our Annual Exhibition in Dewsbury Central Library prints displayed to March the 3rd.

9th - Golden Oldies Night

16th - Judging of the Dewsbury v Batley competition by Gordon Quinn DPAGB

20th - Friday Annual Dinner and Awards at the Whitley Community Centre.

23rd - The judges comments on our Annual Exhibition of Prints in Dewsbury Central Library, by the judge Brian Hemsworth CPAGB.

30th - The Judges comments on our Annual Exhibition of projected images, by the judge Stuart Clarke ARPS.

 Submission night for Trevor Foggin Outside Portrait Competition.

FEBRUARY

6th - YPU Projected Image Portfolio 2011,                         

Submission Night for Ossett Competition

13th - Internal competition No 3 "Travel"         

20th - Judging of the Trevor Foggin Competition by Tony Elliott.          Submission Night for the Taylor Trophy Competition

27th - Judging of the Dewsbury v Ossett competition by Grahame Gage.         

MARCH

5th -  PAGB Projected Image portfolio 2011.

12th - Judging of the Taylor Trophy Competition by Bob Free CPAGB-APAGB.

19th - Practical Portrait Night No 2.

26th - Digital Night No 3. 

APRIL

2nd - Internal Competition No 4 "Reflections"

9th - No Meeting Tonight - Easter Monday

16th - Annual Auction Night.

23rd - Annual General Meeting.

 Submission night for the Photo-journalism Competition.

30th - Playing the Rules a L&CPU talk on composition by Christine Widdall AFIAP  

MAY

7th - May Day - No Meeting Tonight.

12th - 113th YPU Annual Assembly and Exhibition.

Hosted by Dearne Valley Camera Club (Wath upon Dearne)

14th - Latitude 60 degrees South, A YPU lecture  by Jim Winkley, taken on trips from South America to Antartica.

21st -  Judging of the Photo-journalism Competition, judge TBA

       Final judging by members of the 4 Monthly Competitions.
